About Me

Posted by RamoZiska

I was born in Zvornik (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in 1980. I came to United States in 1998 with mother and sister without knowing English at all.
During five years struggling with learning English I finally got it that’s what I think, English is wary hard language to learn. Since I was little I loved to draw and make little sculptures from clay. When I was about ten or eleven my parents gave me a scrapbook and I filled it with my drawings of cartoon characters.
I have always loved to sketch and draw but I had to put my passion for art on hold. I was 18 years old living in USA with mother who don’t speak any English, to continue school I need to move to bigger city. I couldn’t do that I couldn’t live her on her own.
I earned a BD at the M.V.C.C in Utica NY for Graphic Art and Illustration. Like most of as that go to college for what we love and after we finish, we found job that don’t have anything to do with what we love.
I work at local Hospital as a Record Specialist. During this ten years in America I sold about eight of my paintings and two photographs.
Three of my works were display at MVCC Collage in Utica N.Y. Other two works were displayed at Local Hospital where I work for Relationship-Based Care Program 2009, Utica, N.Y.
